Hello all thanks for stopping by to view my works. I love dragons and drawing Fantasy pictures. My favorite book series as you can guess is the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. I've always wanted to start a gallery dedicated to artwork of the book, considering the movie did such a poor job of sticking to the story I want to illustrate Alagaesia and the inhabitants therin in a more realistic light. That is why my gallery name is Alagaesia Fairth because a Fairth in the elven language is a magical picture. I want to create magical pictures of key scenes in the book.

I am 19 (my last year of teenage hood o.O) and I am studying
Biomedical Engineering in the US at an undisclosed University (you know for those
stalkers out there... although I'm sure they'd find me anyways LOL). I have a 5
year old German Shepherd named Nikkia and she is my baby! I have faced just
about every hardship you can imagine in life so I can very easily relate to those
that are going through hard times themselves. Art has been one of the things that
has kept me going through all of the good and bad times and has become a real
passion of mine due to this.

I started drawing when I was little. I've had a pen or pencil in my hand ever since I
could hold one. (My parents actually wondered if I was possessed for a time
because I drew circles on everything when I started writing/drawing... LOL). I was
introduced to digital art and computer programming when I was about 12 or 13. I
used to be obsessed with this game Zoo Tycoon 2. You might know it. And even
created my own little nerdy forum. Then I met some online friends who taught me
how to create animals and hacks for the game (My username was Wildfox if any of
you are here). I was a skin designer and didn't start coding until later. While I was
in the midst of it I stumbled upon The Lion King Fan-Art Archive (TLKFAA) there I
registered as Kamau. I was a frustrated artist there for a while because I wasn't
all that good and it was hard to gain a following. It was always fun to go draw in
sketcher though. While I was on there I was obsessed with Redbuzzard's art. She
eventually converted to DA as well as a couple of other artist that I stalked and I
followed them over here as well.

I started on DA my freshman year of High School as Kenisya and didn't really become too active over here until my Sophomore year. That was the year my awesome Mom bought me an Intuos 4 Wacom Tablet and the Adobe Creative Design Suite for Christmas. I still can't thank her enough! I always try to talk to and encourage developing artists because I was there not even 4 years ago (and hey I still feel like one... probably because I am! LOL). So don't be shy I love new friends and love to answer all your comments and questions! I may be a bit inactive from time to time because life is hard and it gets in the way but I'll always come back don't worry!
